Lake Murray State Park is located on the lake’s northern shore and offers a number of great outdoor activities for visitors. There are three main beaches on the lake. The Lake Murray Public Park, lake Murray Dam North Recreational Area, and Hollow Cay beach. If you want a relaxing day at the lake or if you are camping in one of the areas without a beach, you can take a short trip over to the Sunset Beach area. This beach area is a great place to spend the day. Please be aware there are daily parking fees now required throughout Lake Murray State Park.
